Space. About a Dream is curated by Cathérine Hug and assembling fifty artists’ positions from fifty years, the show reflects the aesthetic, metaphoric and political dimensions connected with the idea of outer space. Works in a wide variety of media – painting, drawing, film, photography, graphic art, and multimedia installation – explore the question which aesthetic and sociopolitical utopias the notion of space is still able to unleash today.

Michael J. Grey at the Walker Art Center of Minneapolis

Michael Joaquin Grey is at Midnight party exhibition, by the curator Joan Ruthfuss for the Walker Art Center (Minneapolis, USA); until the 23th of February of 2014.

Dreams, fantasies, visions and meditations have given rise to some of the most remarkable art made over the past century. Midnight party, named for the fanciful 1938 film by Joseph Cornell tha is a cornestone of the exhibition, explores a fantexplores a fantastic range of highly subjective reflections on the world.

Body of war premiere at The Armory Show 2011

The artist Isabel Rocamora will present her videoinstalation Body of war, which has its installation premiere at the Armory Show, NY, will be exhibited in her solo show The Intimacy of Violence at Galeria Senda/ Arts Santa Monica Museum in May 2011, together with some related moving image pieces and works on paper.

Gao Xingjian presents his new solo exhibition at Senda

Gao Xingjian will present his new paintings in Galería Senda from next March 31.

This artist born in China is also, among others, playwright and translator and he was rewarded by the Nobel Prize on Literature in 2000.
His work is composed by washes with different tonalities and shades and it is characterized by the poetics of his formalization and concept.
