Jordi Bernadó was born in 1966 in Lleida, Spain.
Lives and works in Barcelona, Spain.
Jordi Bernadó creates a reasonable doubt in the viewer: Should the images be presented as a visualization of what we’re looking at, or is it just a simulation of reality? The images he offers seem certain and evident, however, when the photographer chooses what he wants to show and how to capture it, photography abandons its quality of pure representation. It becomes a transformation or re-invention. In this case, fiction is not only created by the eye of the photographer, but obtained by the object and the observing subject. In the end, it is the eye of the audience which discovers the reality in his works.
