Catalina Jaramillo was born 1981 in Medellín, Colombia. Catalina Jaramillo studied fine arts at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Her work revolves around contemplation with constant references to autobiography, literature and fiction using drawing in non-traditional media. Her work has been exhibited individually in different galleries in Latin America. Catalina Jaramillo has been awarded in 2019 with the Honorable Mention of New Talents in Art by the Chamber of Commerce in Medellin, as well as obtaining the distinction in the FAAP Artistic Residency in São Paulo in 2018.
