Through a selection of black and white photographs that address a multiplicity of delicately captured genres, we identify the author’s gaze. This transitions and dialogues from transgressive sensuality to academic classicism and we confront it with the gaze of those portrayed by him. Hunted Obsession is the fourth individual exhibition by Robert Mapplethorpe (New York 1946-Boston 1989) at Galeria Senda, confirming the relevance and vigor of the iconic photographer’s work.
