The new series of watercolor drawing from the Colombian artist Catalina Jaramillo is inspired From the tapestries of “The Lady and the unicorn” (this title is given to a circle of Flamenco tapestries from the XV century frequently considered as one of the most important works of the French revival) they say that each corresponds to one of the five senses and the sixth one which has the inscription “À mon seul désir” sometimes it is associated with love or desire.

In this drawing series, Catalina gets on with some of the principal symbols of the tapestries and associates them with the steps of the alchemical transformation having as reference some of the text of Jung and a few alchemical treaties. In each drawing, the unicorn as the alchemist goes purifying through the senses, and it is the characters who are assuming the transformation
