Taj Forer is a New York-based artist whose work incorporates photography, installation, video, mixed-media and sculpture. The primary themes of Forer's work examine the changing natural world and the rich history of human occupation of, and interaction with, landscape. Forer's work has been exhibited at museums and galleries around the world and is included in the permanent collections of the J. Paul Getty Museum (Los Angeles, CA), The Mint Museum of Art (Charlotte, NC), The Sir Elton John Collection (London, UK), The North Carolina Museum of Art (Raleigh, NC), The Fidelity Investments Collection (Boston, MA), among others. Forer received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College where Forer studied under Joel Sternfeld.
