How would that help us to perceive the work for itself, in its poetic essence?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Poetic Intention is an exercise that allows us to sound out a break in the institutional framework, offering a space for reflection and critique where the concept and the experience of \u2018art\u2019 are presented as emancipatory principles. Thus, a new storytelling is configured that encompasses absences and enables other discourses as common spaces, possible scenarios to question and update the forms of relationship established by artistic practices with the subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Prelude. Poetic Intention\u2019, is MACBA Collection\u2019s new presentation in which politics and poetics enter a dialogue that reflects on the inherent relations between the work of art and its context, the subjects that surround it and the material culture it generates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition takes a journey through case studies and presents works recently acquired by the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macba.cat\/en\/exhibitions-activities\/exhibitions\/macba-colleccion-new-presentation\">Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona&nbsp;(MACBA)<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;where the concept and the experience of \u2018art\u2019 are presented as emancipatory principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the show, you will be able to see a selection of works by <a href=\"https:\/\/galeriasenda.com\/artista\/elena-del-rivero\">Elena Del Rivero<\/a>, Valencian artist living in New York, who is presenting a <a href=\"https:\/\/galeriasenda.com\/event\/elena-del-rivero-love-song\/\">solo exhibition in Galeria SENDA<\/a> opening January 12th 2023 titled: <a href=\"https:\/\/galeriasenda.com\/event\/elena-del-rivero-love-song\/\">Love Song<\/a>, <em>In Memoriam: Lawrence D. \u201cButch\u201d Morris<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition is curated by Elvira Dyangani Ose, Ant\u00f2nia M. Perell\u00f3 Ferrer, Claudia Segura Campins, and Patr\u00edcia Sorroche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since&nbsp;<strong>14 December,<\/strong> on the first floor of the Meier building,&nbsp;<em><strong>Poetic Intention<\/strong><\/em> &nbsp;will open its doors.
