Jane Hammond nacida en 1950 en Bridgeport, Estados Unidos
Vive y trabaja en Nueva Jork, Estados Unidos A lo largo de su carrera, Jane Hammond ha realizado trabajos sobre papel, esculturas, impresiones y pinturas. Su proceso de collage se muestra constantemente cuando trabaja en cualquier medio. En 1977, creó una colección de más de 276 imágenes, incluyendo todo desde las marionetas y la magia hasta la alquimia y los manuales científicos. Cada obra es una composición de estas imágenes unidas a través de un collage, que construyen historias superpuestas en las que chocan diferentes mundos
